Who Owns the Land

It seems that every day developments in the Middle East cause things to become more and more convoluted. Suicide bombers, heated political debate and accusations abound. Arabs want the Jews out of Israel, claiming the land doesn’t belong to them, and the Jews retaliate with force to protect the land they claim does belong to them. Who is right? To try and sort out the confusion can be somewhat mind boggling.
This is where this book will be a tremendous blessing to you. Dr. Stanley Ellisen and Dr. Charles Dyer have written an in-depth look at the real reasons behind this conflict. Starting with the Divine Covenants concerning the land and tracing it all the way through to President Bush’s 2003 unveiling of the “Roadmap to Peace”, they present a very detailed look at the developments. Included are the various expulsions of the Jewish people throughout history, their near extermination on several occasions, the formation of the State of Israel and the various documents associated with it (Balfour Resolution, The Churchill White Paper, agreements and land transfers of 1994-99, and others). It also chronicles Israel’s defense and expansion after the creation of their new State in 1947. But the question remains: Does it really belong to the Jews? They were absent from the land for many hundreds of years. Arabs have lived in the land all during that time. Does that negate Jewish inheritance? Did the Jews forfeit their inheritance in disobedience to God? All great questions, and many others like them – all of which are answered in this book. Christian, as you read this book, you will be filled with compassion for the Jewish people and find yourself longing, as the Apostle Paul did, for their Salvation (see Romans 10:1). You will find yourself yearning for them to embrace the Messiah which they have rejected for so long. You will experience tremendous empathy as you read about the consistent mistreatment (that is an understatement!) they have faced at the hands of tyrants, and rejoice at their unbelievable achievements and victories! Do yourself a favor and take the time to find out “Who Owns the Land”. You may be surprised. Read ‘em & Reap!
